Deployed to the Level 5 Wonderland escalator area — where an individual was exhibiting suicidal behaviour at the edge of a corridor railing, posing an imminent risk of self-harm — he supported ground operations by helping maintain situational control and keeping the area secured for safe engagement. Working closely with fellow officers and the command centre, he provided essential support in maintaining perimeter safety and readiness for escalation, contributing to a controlled and stable environment. Following successful de-escalation, the individual was safely transferred to the Singapore Police Force and conveyed to the Institute of Mental Health for further care. His calm approach, teamwork and operational support were integral to the incident's successful resolution.

Once stabilised, the individual was safely handed over to the Singapore Police Force and conveyed to the Institute of Mental Health for further care. The client at Westgate commended the officers for their effective, well-executed response.
